Created with a grant from the French Cultural Services, Internef was over two years in the making. Designed to immerse intermediate level French students in the French language and culture, Internef utilizes video, written text

10 individual learning modules each provide a theme or story about French culture. One module examines "Restaurant of the Heart", a program for feeding the hungry in France, another module takes the learner to the French cemetary of Picpus, a burial ground for those executed in the French Revolution. Each module includes written history, video both with and without text transcript, drag and drop exercises, fill in the blank exercises.

In the last 6 months of the project, I worked extensively with French teachers to develop exercises and learning material to be used in preexisting templates. I modified the templates, converted content, did extensive bug testing and fixing of all Flash actionscripted drag and drop exercises, as well as testing and fixing of the site as a whole.
